I made an Insta Closet!! Or in other words, I started a secondhand shop on Instagram-- Bella's Hand Me Downs
This idea was inspired by all the cool stuff I find while going through my mom's closet. A good percentage of my current closet are hand-me-downs from my mom and aunt. And the same goes for my sister, who combs through my closet. My mom, sister, and I are lucky enough to have a relationship that allows us to share clothes amongst each other, so it's fun to see how each of us style the same piece differently by putting our own spin and style on the pieces we've passed around.
Well now I've noticed that my sister and I are developing our own different styles and she's become more selective with which pieces she wants from me. As a result, I'm left with a lot of pieces that are still in-style and in great condition that no one wants. Making this secondhand shop was a way for me to share these pieces with a larger audience and it's also a way to get some extra pocket money. Plus shopping secondhand is good for the Earth, and for the wallet too!
