The new "trend" due to lockdown is FaceTime (or video call) photoshoots, and I decided to try it out with Manila based photographer, Bryan Montojo.
After bouncing ideas off of each other over Instagram DM, we decided to shoot 3 different looks inside and around my house using the app Google Duo.
It was an interesting setup. I used my small tripod to hold my phone in place and I moved it around the space. At times I had to prop it up with other household items. While I was moving everything around, Bryan was watching and directing me, telling me to "hold" while he took a screenshot of the image then to "change" once he captured the image. It was a bit difficult because we had to work with the time difference, and connectivity and image quality issues, but overall, it was a fun shoot. We were able to get some pretty good images and it challenged me to really work with the space and resources we had at our disposal.
