Naturally, after not seeing each other for 5 years, my cousin, my sister, and I would want to spend some time together to catch up, and nothing says cousin bonding like a beach weekend getaway! My cousin, Luigi, and his girlfriend, Anne, took my sister and I to San Juan La Union, Philippines for first time (but hopefully not the last). (3 day vacation)
Our trip to La Union was definitely something to remember. There were so many inside jokes and memories made on this trip. From dirty public bathrooms, to the pouring rain and soggy leather flip flops, to vicious ocean waves, and "Tangquila" (Tang Powdered Juice & Tequila), I wouldn't have wanted to take this trip with anyone else.

It rained all 3 days while we were there (which was a challenge we didn't adequately prepare for), but we didn't let that stop us from having fun! Luckily, when it did start pouring we were already dressed in our swim gear so we just rolled with it. But the heavy rains did make the waves quite strong so it was extremely difficult trying to surf.

Although our trip was short, we definitely had fun catching up and sharing our "adulting" and college stories. Thanks for showing us a good time!
